Defining active projects

All CallWeb CATI projects must be defined and activated in the BASEprojets CallWeb project. Projects that are not declared or activated in the BASEprojets CallWeb project are not available to supervisors and interviewers — this way Web-only projects can be managed along with CATI projects, without interference.

Defining a project simply requires

• stating a name,
• possibly a title, and
• a telephone suffix code (for billing purposes).

Also, projects

• can be made to use the auto-dialer and the predictive/batch dialer,
• can allow interviewers to change telephone numbers of individual cases,
• can be temporarily switched on or off without deleting the entry from the list and
• can be associated with a "do not call before" time and a "do not call after" time which are expressed in local respondent time.

The BASEprojets CallWeb project is most easily viewed and edited from the cwnav.cgi utility which is accessible from the integrated module.
